This song is about that overwhelming feeling of anxiety when you wake up in the morning after a terrible night’s sleep. You can’t face the day, but you have to. You’ve got to get up and deal with all the shit you’ve been putting off. When I’m going through a mental episode, things get worse and worse as the days go by, and all I do is procrastinate and bury my head deeper, which makes everything worse. That’s when my thoughts settle on suicide as the inevitable solution to end the cycle of anguish. Really, there’s no real allowance in a working world for mental health.
